About the Class: The focus of this drop-in class is cultivating presence, awareness and awakening in daily life through practical and relatable teachings. Through the gentle persistence of regular meditation practice, guided inquiry, and open-heartedness, wisdom can arise in even the most ordinary of moments. By deepening our connection to ourselves through meditation and mindful awareness, we cultivate mental and physical wellness in our lives. The session consists of a 30-minute teacher-led meditation, followed by a short talk on a relevant topic, and then a group discussion. People of all races and ethnicities, sexual orientations and gender identities are welcome.
